So I've been really struggling to write lately. It's gotten to be kind of painful, actually, where I am actively miserable every time I force myself to sit down and work on something. This sucks!

Under the theory that perhaps I am simply out of writing-shape, I have devised a plan. My goal is to write one ficlet (somewhere in the 200-400 word range, likely) every day for the month of June. But to do that, I need some help. I need LOTS and LOTS of prompts for inspiration. So I have decided to open my own personal kinkmeme!

The rules are simple. To leave a prompt, simply reply to this post. Put the fandom and character/relationship in the subject of the comment, and your prompt in the body. if I fill the prompt, I will do so in response to your comment! There is NO LIMIT to the number of prompts you can leave -- PLEASE leave me any and every prompt that pops into your head!

ANYTHING GOES, prompt-wise. Smut and kink are not only welcomed, but encouraged! No relationship or trope is off limits! Prompts can be a anything from a detailed scenario to a single word. (Keep in mind that I'm only going to write something ficlet-length though!) This whole post is going to be a Choose Not To Warn space; if you're concerned that something in your prompt may be upsetting to other people reading through, feel free to add a warning to the subject line, but I'm not going to require this.

I'd really get a kick out of this feeling like a true kink meme, which means I encourage any and all participation that you are moved to! Leave +1s on prompts that you want to see filled! Feel free to start discussions! Go off topic! And if you happen to be inspired to fill a prompt somebody else has left (or even one you left!) I will read delightedly!

And if you're feeling bashful about a particular prompt, I am enabling anonymous commenting. Please do leave me those prompts you desperately want written but don't want attached to your name! This is a judgement free zone (in general I try to maintain a judgement free zone? but here in particular I want to emphasize that!) so I would love to see (and perhaps write!) whatever kinky/dark/tooth-rottingly fluffy thing your id desires.

Alec didn't even think about it. Parker brought out the blindfold and noise-cancelling headphones with that special little grin that said she wanted to try something new, and Alec was naked and spread-eagle on the bed in a flash.

She didn't tie him down, and she didn't gag him; she just said she wanted him to stay very still for her and Alec wriggled a little to get it out and then complied.

He would have been fine, really, if she had started doing things to him right away. But she let him stew, after she locked him into the dark and the quiet, and he knew, he knew that he was lying on their California King bed, he could feel their sheets underneath him, he could smell the syrup that had spilled from their interrupted breakfast that morning.

But it was dark, and it was quiet, and suddenly he could feel the walls of that coffin again, and he couldn't move, and he wanted to move and he didn't want to move and his throat was closing up, he was choking on his safeword and it wouldn't come out.

Parker's hands were there, in an instant and an eternity later, tugging off the blindfold and knocking the headphones askew. The world came rushing back, and Alec felt like an idiot, panting and sweating and totally ruining the moment.

Parker didn't say a thing, though, and didn't make Alec say anything either. She just tugged him up to sit back against her chest and wrapped her arms and legs around him, and held him until he stopped shaking.

This thing between them was still new -- new enough that Aaron hadn't had to explain to Jack yet why Spencer was suddenly hanging around more. This was supposed to be a day for the three of them; they had planned the science museum, maybe a movie. But of course, Aaron had been called in for some emergency political glad-handing, and had had to leave Spencer alone with Jack.

It was past dinner time when Aaron finally made it back home. He was greeted at the door by the smell of chocolate, and followed his nose to the kitchen.

"Jack? Spencer?"

He rounded the corner to find the stand mixer out on the counter surrounded by a fine dusting of flour, more mixing bowls than he knew he owned stacked precariously in the sink, and Spencer carefully pulling two sheets of cookies out of the oven as Jack watched eagerly from a stool. Both were wearing, of all things, plastic goggles.

Jack looked up to spot Aaron first, and his face broke into the biggest grin Aaron had seen in a while. "Daddy, look! We're doing science!"

Aaron blinked, then grinned back. "Oh yeah? What kind of science are we doing?"

"We're experimenting! To see what's yummiest!"

Aaron laughed, grabbing Jack and lifting him into a hug. "Testing for yumminess, buddy? What are your variables? Do you have a control batch?"

But Jack had gotten distracted by the cookies, almost within reach as Spencer moved them from cookie sheet to cooling rack, and didn't answer. So Aaron turned to Spencer, who was smiling down at his work almost. . . bashfully.

"We've got store-bought for the control group, and the two experimental batches are made with the same Nestle recipe but substituting equivalent amounts of butter and shortening for the fat. Baking science is actually a fascinating subject. . ."

Aaron found himself grinning again, and buried his nose in Jack's hair, pressing a kiss to the back of Jack's head to stop from kissing Spencer like he wanted to. He had to touch though, so he closed the distance between them to put a hand on Spencer's shoulder, squeezing.

That brought Jack finally within range of the cookies, and he happily grabbed two, not even flinching at how hot they were, and likely wrecking the experimental protocol besides. Aaron was pretty sure all of them were too happy with the result to be particularly bothered.

*snort* That's an intriguing pairing + prompt! But I did not need to click (and thus get sucked into a Tv Tropes spiral) because I already knew the trope! Muahahahaha!

Also, have you read the Leon Tao fic in the Exchange of Interest collection? It's EXCELLENT.

Neal took three from his plate and placed them on El's. El grabbed one and bit in immediately, moaning in appreciation, then because she never was very good at accepting gifts without giving something back in return, she slid one of her pancakes onto Neal's plate.

As Neal was excellent at accepting gifts, he drizzled a little syrup on the pancake and dug in.

They were breakfasting in bed, luxuriating in a slow, lazy Sunday morning, curled up around each other against the headboard. The sun was pouring in through the windows, turning everything gold-tinged and bright.

They munched happily for a minute, but eventually El's eyes strayed to the window.

"Where's he at now?"

Neal craned his neck for a better view of the yard. "Almost done. Just rounding the oak now."

"Is he still. . .?"

"Of course. Perfectly straight stripes, up and down your lawn."

El shook her head, laughing a little. But her mouth was turned down just a bit at the corner.

"Maybe we should go and get him some lemonade?"

Neal pushed another strawberry into El's hand. "No. We won that bet fair and square. He knew what he was getting into."

El sighed. "It's supposed to be nearly 90 degrees today. . ."

"And he's almost done now, well before the hottest part of the day. Peter will be fine."

Still, they both looked back to the window rather than continuing to pick at their breakfast.

It was just in time. As they watched, Peter, paused his mowing to use his sleeve to wipe the sweat off his brow. Then he pulled his t-shirt away from where it was sticking to his chest and stomach, flapping it briefly, before apparently getting fed up and pulling it all the way off.

They watched as he stretched his arms up and over his head, showing off the broad spread of his shoulders, glistening with sweat.

"Oh."

El blinked rapidly next to him, and Neal had to swallow with a suddenly dry mouth.

Peter feigned obliviousness, not more than ten feet away through the open window, but Neal could see the smirk he wasn't bothering to hide.

Maybe Neal hadn't given Peter enough credit, he thought, as El shifted her legs distinctively and Neal twitched the sheet for more comfortable coverage of the interest certain body parts were taking in Peter's show. It certainly wasn't a strategy Neal would employ, but he couldn't argue the result.

The traffic in London sounded wrong.

The pitch was too low, or the tempo was too fast. Four days ago, after the last time Sherlock had slept, he would have been able to pinpoint what was off about it. But now, all he knew was that it was wrong, and it was preventing him from sleeping.

He had unearthed a dartboard from somewhere, and he was testing to see how much his hand-eye coordination had been affected, when he was unceremoniously upended and landed on his ass. Before he could make a sound (and before he could formulate any sort of counterattack) he found himself bound and pushed down across the back of the sofa.

"That is enough, Sherlock. If you cannot sleep on your own, then I will make you."

She began hitting him with what felt like the flat back of a hairbrush over his jeans, and the pain blossomed instantly, bright and clean, filling his brain so there was no room for anything else.

After, he slept for thirteen hours straight, and woke alone. But Joan's scent lingered in his sheets, as if she had stayed with him, keeping watch.
