Fandom Trumps Hate

fandomtrumpshate . In case you missed it the past two years, it's an online auction of fanworks & fan labor with the proceeds going to various progressive/leftist nonprofits. It was started in response to the 2016 U.S. presidential election, and all the charities are U.S.-based, but anyone can take part as contributor or bidder. All the offers this year can be found at fth2019offerings , and bidding opened yesterday. The list of approved nonprofits is here, and contributors have the option of selecting nonprofits they want the bids for their work to go to, or indicating that their bidders can donate to any organization on the list.
The reason this is relevant to my blog is that I've decided to be bold, and I've actually offered myself up as a contributor! My offering page is here.
In case you don't want to click the link, I'm offering one fic, between 5,000 and 10,000 words, in one of the following fandoms:
Elementary: Joan/Sherlock or Joan & Sherlock (open to discussing other relationships, but no Moriarty or Mycroft)
Iron Man (MCU): Any shippy combination of Pepper, Rhodey, & Tony, but nothing involving recent canon (Civil War/Infinity War)
Warehouse 13: HG/Myka
The form limited me to three fandoms, so I offered the fandoms that my most popular fics are in, and that I was confident I could write a 5k+ fic for. But I indicated in the notes that I am also willing to write for three more fandoms:
Person of Interest
Stargate: Atlantis
Teen Wolf
For those fandoms I just noted that you should contact me about relationships, but I can pretty confidently say I can write Finch/Reese, John/Rodney, and Derek/Stiles, and in all three of those fandoms if you're interested in a rarer ship just drop me a line and we'll discuss.
And if there's any other fandom that I've written in before, or that you've seen me talk about somewhere at some point, that you'd rather have a fic from me in? Send me a message and I'll consider it!
Other specifications: I am willing to write any rating up to Explicit; I'm not willing to write any of AO3's archive warnings (Underage, Rape/Non-Con, Major Character Death); I am very comfortable writing consensual kink fic; I will not write an AU where the characters are aged down (so no high school/college/coffee shop AUs).
So. . . yeah. You can totally bid on me right now! The bidding spreadsheet is here (this is where you can see what the current high bid is), and the link to place a bid is here. Bidding is open until 8pm EST March 1st (1am UTC March 2nd).
And even if you don't want to bid on me, take a look through the other offerings, see if there's anyone whose work you'd love to have, and support some vitally important nonprofit organizations at the same time.
