sanguinity , I decided to sign up for the Fuck, Marry, Kill exchange on AO3. It was too novel a concept to resist - you match on a trio of characters within a fandom, and get to choose who you will have fucking, who you will have marrying, and who you will have being killed. (Minimum 100 words for each.)
I received two absolutely delightful collections of drabbles as gifts, both by Sanguinity. The Elementary set features an absolutely galaxy brain pairing for the "Marry" drabble, and Mycroft getting exactly what he deserves. The Vorkosigan set is extremely sweet and ends on a perfect note of hilarious outrage.

Additional Characters: Armsman Roic, Miles Vorkosigan, Kareen Koudelka
And I was assigned to write for Sanguinity as well, I suspect to neither of our surprise, given the size of the exchange. I played with a number of different fandoms and trios, but ended up having the most success with the Vorkosigan Saga trio I deliberately did not sign up for, because I was afraid I wouldn't be able to manage it: Aral Vorkosigan, Ges Vorrutyer, and Serg Vorbarra. I'm not generally drawn to writing dark!fic, and I certainly didn't want to write any sort of happy ending for two out of those three characters, so I didn't offer them.
But I've always had a great many feels about Kareen Vorbarra, and of course I have plenty of Aral feels, and my brain delivered me this linked trio of ficlets:

All in all, quite an enjoyable exchange, though it was stressful that there was no DW comm for it, and so there was nowhere for the mod to post announcements when, for example, reveals were delayed by three days. I don't know that I'd sign up again, but I'm glad I did this year.
